Whether you're a provider or a patient, Health Options Worldwide (HOW) has the tools to help you better manage the healthcare process. It all starts with a simple registration.

How to Register:

You can register for the site by clicking on the “Register” icon in the top right corner of any page. Alternatively, you can just click here.

On the registration page you will be asked to specify what type of user account you would like to create (doctor, facility, or patient). The options are clearly described, but if you have any doubts on which option is right for you, please give us a call at 1-877-234-1345 and we would be happy to assist you.

After selecting a user type you will be asked to fill out a short form, providing us with your contact information. Your user name for the HOW website will be the email address you are registering with. You will also be asked to create a password for your account. Since the HOW website does store your personal health information, please do not share your password with anyone.

After you have completed the registration process you will receive a confirmation email. This email will contain a confirmation link that you must click in order to activate your account. This helps us to confirm that your email address was entered correctly and verifies that you would like to be a member of the HOW website.

If you do not receive a confirmation email after registering for the site, please give us a call at 1-877-234-1345 and we can have an operator manually activate your account for you. Once that step is complete you're ready to log in to the HOW website and take advantage of the unique benefits it has to offer.
How to Log In:

You can log in to the site by clicking on the “Login” icon in the top right corner of any page. Alternatively, you can just click here.

If this is your first visit to your profile you will be asked to fill out some additional contact information. The fields marked with a red star are required. Once you have entered your information, click the blue “Save this Section” button. A red confirmation message will appear at the top of the page if your information has been saved correctly.

Once you have saved your information you can access your profile by clicking on the "Access Your Profile" icon in the top right corner of any page. If you would like to change your information at any point you can click on the orange "Edit" button on your profile.

Upon future visits, logging in to the system will take you directly to your profile.
How to Search:

Finding high quality healthcare is easy with HOW. Searching for a doctor or hospital, or to find details about a procedure, is a simple 1-step process. At the top of each page is a general search bar that will allow you to quickly browse through HOW's vast network of providers to find the one that's right for you. All you have to do is type in a word (or a combination of words) and click the blue “Search” button. If you need information about a heart bypass operation or want to know what doctors and hospitals specialize in cardiac care, just type in “Heart”. It's that easy.

After you perform a search a results page will be displayed showing any procedures, doctors, and hospitals that have met your search criteria. Filtering options are available at the top of the results page, so if you only want to see doctors, click on the doctors link.

Clicking on a doctor's picture will open a window showing more details about him or her.  The same is true of clicking on a facility's picture.  If you would like to see the doctor's or facility's full profile, click on the "See Full Profile" link in that window.
Additional Help:

The HOW website offers a variety of features for all user types.  For additional information about the features available to you please see the "Resources" tab in your personal profile after registering for the site.  If you still have questions please feel free to contact us at 1-877-234-1345 or through our contact form.
